Project lacks visible system for work sequencing, spoil clearance, traffic management, property damage response or timeline communication. Technical specifications for drain covers, structural load capacity, drainage capacity and roadside tree treatment not disclosed to residents.

Drain works on Wheeler Road and Hutchins Road in Cooke Town have continued for approximately two months, causing damaged compound walls, debris, elevated concrete slabs, traffic congestion and access issues.

Resident Constantine Pereira reported an earth-moving machine damaged his compound wall during drain dismantling; the wall remained unrepaired after two months and a concrete slab placed over the drain was higher than ground level, making it difficult to close his gate.

Contractor-appointed supervisor Manoj stated debris would be cleared and damaged compound walls repaired, but the report does not establish completion timelines, number of affected properties or inspection status.

Railway authorities constructed compound wall and made opening for rainwater to enter drain. Residents, especially pedestrians, suffer during heavy rains.
