Chowpatty is a great place to live and travel to Churchgate, Nariman point and Grant road station is easy by bus taxi etc. It has lots of temples. It is very close to diamond market at panchratna.

Pros:

Availability of good shopping centers, stores, cinema halls, schools

Cons:

It is very crowded both in the morning and evening -huge traffic jams are very common
Mostly vegetarian food are available here since lots of gujarati, marwadi & jains live nearby
Lots of Jain temples
