Charai is a very old residential area in Thane. Its very close, at a walk-able distance to the Thane Railway Station. All Cultural, Educational, Government & Religious centres are withing walking distances from Charai. There are many food joints in this area. Most of the buildings here have come up on the place of old villas & chawls. Residents of different religious background live here cordially for centuries.

Charai is the Central place in Thane city. It is adjacent to the famous Masunda Talao. All type of shops ,markets are nearby. Walking distance from Thane station west.

Pros:
  • No transportation cost towards Thane station.
  • All type of requirements on the doorstep.
Cons:
  • Due to markets and shops, the place is always loud and noisy
