Shakti Nagar is the new residential locality in Mangalore city which is fast developing. With the new 40 feet wide concrete roads and a lot of new housing and apartment projects coming up very fast, the rates are going to skyrocket in the next couple of years and will be in par with Kadri, Velencia, and Bejai areas. Being just 1 km from Eden Club, one of the top family clubs of Mangalore and 2 km from Kadri Park, the most happening place for tourism in Mangalore with Musical fountains and other recreational facilities planned by the MCC, Shaktinagar will be the most preferred location to invest and reside as it is very much closer to the city center - 4.5 km. Temples, churches, Mosques, etc. are within a distance of 2-3 kms. Hospitals, medical centers, schools, colleges, Malls, etc. are within a maximum of 3 kms. Bus terminus, Railway stations and airport are easily reachable within a maximum time of 15 minutes. A parallel airport road and a public park are planned in Shaktinagar.
