Sevvapet Road is the name of the railway station on Madras Central - Thiruvallur line. This railway station is situated alongside the MTH (Madras Thiruvallur Highway) within walking distance. The housing area between MTH Road and that railway station is in Thozhuvur Revenue village. One approved layout known as United India Nagar is just lying in between. If residential plots are available for outright sale, they may have many takers.

Pros:
  • Accessibility to train and bus route is within walkable distance
  • Fresh garden vegetables vendors are seen going around in tricycles.
  • Some schools are seen in the vicinity. But train services are a boon. Transportation is cheap
Cons:
  • One may have to await the construction of an over ridge to go from MTH road side to interior places
  • Departmental stores, shopping malls are yet to come.

Sevvapet is connected with railway facilities and is a peaceful area for residing. Now it may look silent place but as the bridge work gets completed Sevvapet will have a lot of noise.

  • No connectivity to schools, shopping mall, cinema theatres

Sevvapet is situated on the Chennai to Tiruvallur Highway and is well connected by Train and MTC buses. It is a fast developing residential area in the suburban Chennai with affordable price for properties.

Pros:
  • Train and Bus facilities
  • Close to educational institutions
  • Close to Kakkalur SIDCO industrial estate
