This tourist destination though small has something enriched in it that soaks your soul. Courtallam with time made its place as the 'Spa of South India' an essential part of the Western Ghats in Tenkasi district.
The Heritage spa, containing as it does, at least nine major natural waterfalls and several ancient temples with exquisite murals, to slave both body and soul. As the copper and herb-enriched waters ministered to our accumulated ailments, it was heavenly. After a few minutes of this aqua onslaught, the de-stressing effect took over, lulling us into a pleasurable stupor, making us loath to ever step out of the magical experience
Courtallam is the best place to live and surrounded by serene beautiful lush green natural habitat creating an enchanting landscapes and water bodies making optimum use of natural contours of the lands. The pollution free environment, the breeze flowing from Western Ghats, drizzling effect of natural beauty
The city saw an increase in urban software professionals employed with some leading companies that are housed in the surrounding of courtallam. They saw value in the green surroundings close to their respective offices and started to invest there. They were happy then as homes close to work meant a shorter commute and also property values have appreciated year on year basis with demand for a workforce in hub set to grow manifold over the next 10 years. Apart from this world class international schools and reputable local schools and colleges setting up branches in the area which makes this place more and more family friendly.
