Kamothe is a well developed location and featuring two railways (Mansarovar and Khandeshwar). It has bus and rickshaw facilities. Other lined up facilities are hospitals, schools (CBSE and State board), super markets, fish and vegetable market. Newly build police station. It is the center for all types of transportation.

Kamothe is a very good place to live in. All basic facilities (24 hrs chemist, banks, schools, shops, etc) are available nearby. Communication wise the best. Strategically located between Sion-Panvel Highway & Harbour line. Served with 2 stations viz. Khandeshwar & Manasarovar. Near to Panvel Junction & Puna Expressway. Shared Auto-rickshaw and MMTC bus available.
