Mohanlal Ganj is just like a New Cantt. Lucknow has a cantt near Charbagh, But near Mohanlal Ganj various Camp are located - BSP, ITBP. AIRFORCE ETC.. So this location is very much safe and 400 acres Cricket Stadium is situated in this land. So very high Society area.
