Ghatkesar, which is around 20 Km from Secunderabad railway station, is fast becoming another hi-tech city in Hyderabad. Already Infosys has set up its campus at Pocharam, Ghatkesar, with a workforce of over 8,000 employees. Close to this campus, there is Singapore township having about 3000 built-up flats and Raheja IT park which is expected to become fully operational shortly. Within a radius of over 4 Kms from Infosys campus, there are half a dozen engineering colleges, besides other educational institutions like pharma and junior colleges. Many housing ventures have also come up in and around Pocharam, thus giving a boost to land value at Pocharam, Ghatkesar.
