Thane west Naupada is heart of the city. All basic things are available at walking distance. Vegetable market is 5 mins walking. This is one of the best place to stay in thane. one will not feel that he is so close by to Mumbai. cool, calm green city. Good infrastructure, roads are wide, commercial complexes and shopping mall are well located and are full of amenities. But one thing is lacking in thane and i.e public transport is not up to mark. One should have a 2 wheeler to stay in thane. overall feel will be pleasant, you are staying in Mumbai but will not get crowded atmosphere.
