Locality Reviews Alwaye, Kochi

The most significant factor of Aluva is that it is surrounded by tourist places and it may be the best place to stay and visit different places because of the easy access through road, rail, air and also through the river Periyar. I think that it may be most commonly known by its older name ''Alwaye''.
Being surrounded by Periyar means that all parts of Aluva is out of any water crisis. The water from Aluva is even taken to some of the Cochin areas. Periyar, being the second largest river in Kerala does not manage to become dry at any occasion. As me myself stay on the banks of the river, I have to say that it is quite an exiting place to be staying.
A journey through Periyar is always going to be a memorable one. I think that it is the inspiration for me as I write reviews. I do see it right now, flowing slowly, but in such a beautiful way.
Not only the river is the major factor of Aluva's development. Aluva is quite close to Cochin and surrounded by a number of towns. Aluva is now in the International aviation map as it is the nearest town to the Nedumbassery (Cochin) International Airport. I wonder if it may be called Aluva airport one day.
Aluva was also called the industrial capital of Kerala because of the large number of industries situated there. Once again, Periyar may be the major reason for that too. I have always found it a nice idea to sit one the banks of Periyar with my friends whenever we get tired after playing badminton.

Pros:
  • good climate
  • main town in kochi
Cons:
  • no neagatives
