Kothputli is going to become a district very soon as it has expanded its boundaries a lot. It has got a major industrial area of Rajasthan, i.e Keshwana and Sotanala industrial area which consists of some big manufacturing plants like J.K cement, boilers, etc. Kotputli has a some of the major international schools and colleges as well, like Rafels university, Raath international school, etc.
Prices of land in this area are rising like anything and in coming few years we will see a drastic change in that city. Development is taking place in every field so it won't take much time to became a hitech city.
