Murbad is a city 58 kms from the nearest developed city of Thane. It is cool round the year as it is at a height from sealevel, making it cooler. The roads are well maintained. The Maharashtra Govt's thrust on this area has made it a very good bet from the investment point. There is proposal to have Murbad Railway Station which will be a reality any time now. Also it is proposed to have the State Highway lane 4 way from the current 2 lane.
